Silk Soft Satin

Interior Paint

Silk Soft Satin

Satin is a weave rather than a single material, meaning its safety depends on whether it is made from natural fibers like silk or synthetics like polyester. Synthetic satins may carry trace manufacturing chemicals, whereas silk-based satin is naturally hypoallergenic, though both require proper care to maintain hygiene and avoid skin irritation.

Silk Soft Satin is a high-quality interior acrylic paint known for its elegant, washable mid-sheen finish. It provides a smoother appearance than standard satin and a subtle, rich glow.

Safety: Fiber Content: Synthetic satins (polyester or nylon) can trap heat and lack breathability, while posing microplastic concerns. Silk satin is breathable, thermoregulating, and naturally gentle on skin and hair. Chemical Residues: Inexpensively processed synthetic fabrics can occasionally retain processing chemicals like formaldehyde, heavy metals, or azo dyes. Certifications: Look for independent product safety certifications like OEKO-TEX Standard 100 to ensure textiles are free from harmful levels of toxic chemicals. Maintenance & Hygiene: Bedding or garments should be washed regularly (every 1–2 weeks for high-contact items) to prevent bacterial and allergen buildup.

Super Gloss Emulsion

Interior Paint

Super Gloss Emulsion

The term "Super Gloss Emulsion" blends two different paint types: emulsion is typically water-based and matte or low-sheen for walls, while super gloss refers to a shiny, oil-based or alkyd enamel finish used for wood and metal. Most manufacturers produce either a high-shine Super Gloss Enamel (alkyd-resin based) or an acrylic-based gloss emulsion for washable walls.

Super Gloss Paint (frequently referred to as Super Gloss Enamel or high-gloss finishes by regional manufacturers) typically provides a coverage rate of 13 to 15 square meters per liter (m²/L) when applied over a properly prepared undercoat on smooth surfaces. It is an alkyd resin-based paint designed for exceptional durability and a deep, mirror-like shine.
